I am truly pleased to be joining all you bloggers. This is a big part of our community – sharing online – and I am thrilled to be starting to join in. I am passionate about information literacy and keen to learn to teach ‘online’. I live on the mid north coast of eastern Australia and teach mostly in high schools and I am training as a librarian. It is such fun with heaps of resources online.

Hi Susan, I am a first timer as well. My very first blog (it’s not very good, but I’ll work on it). I put a photo on there, then spent 30 minutes trying to get rid of it! My first Google Reader – wow – I had heard people talking about RSS, but I had no idea. I’m still working on that.
I work alone in my library, so it is great to join in and read about what other people are doing in this industry. This is a career change for me so I am starting at the bottom again. I love it so much that I have ambitions to keep studying towards a library degree and possibly teaching.
